Too long between posts!{Squamish Family Photographer}

To anyone who likes to keep in touch with me through my blog here...I am so sorry it has been this long between posts!I have been flying low under the radar for no other reason than that I just simply could not keep up with all that had to be done between photo sessions, packing up our entire home and heading off to Australia for 4 months.

So for those of you who hadn't worked it out...we are in Australia now, finally acclimatizing to the wonderful summer weather we are having here so far, over jet lag and getting used the Christmas lights that come on after the kids are asleep!!

I want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who made it possible for us to escape for a 4 month trip. There are too many people to name, but you know who you are!!

Thank you to all my wonderful clients that helped me by getting their orders to me quickly for a speedy turn around, as well as to the final few clients of 2009 that waited patiently for me to edit their photos while in transit to Australia! Your orders are on their way!

Hmm lot's of chit chat right now.....so perhaps I need to post a few photos from my last few photo sessions in Canada(btw, I am coming back.....this is a working holiday!)

In the next day or so I will post some from here in Australia....

So this first series...we were so lucky to get the last of the great days of Fall in Squamish...before the very wet November we had... but what wonderful fun in the leaves we had that day!

 

  

Now this family were brave enough to attempt a photo session on a very dark rainy day in mid November...I was nervous driving to their home as the rain bucketed down and my headlights were on!!!, but they were so much fun and willing to try anything to get photos of the cousins together...which resulted in the bathtub shot below!!!
 
  

Now this little girl was just about to turn one and her lovely mum baked  a cake especially for the photo session! I managed not to get any on me , but mum and dad sure needed some clean clothes after....
