I had the lovely fortune to be asked to take some wedding photos recently. Many of you know this is not normally something I do,as I specialize in working with children and families.....however this particular wedding had so many personal favourites(Children, flowers, wonderful friendships) included I was delighted to be there.Here are a couple of photos that have come out of my editing....

Babies...{ Vancouver and Squamish Baby and Children's Photographer}

Following on from my recent posts of "milestones", whilst some parents are celebrating their children growing up, graduating and leaving the nest, others are celebrating new arrivals into their life and the milestones that come along with that....teeth, sitting up, crawling...

 ....I love that fascination they have with their toes and how flexible they are!!

 

One of  these session was the winner of the draw prize of Class of 2009. This competition is held annually by The Chief newspaper with a prize being drawn from all entries to have a photo session with us!

So the winner is.....baby Kiel....congratulations to such a gorgeous young family and thanks for a fun photo session...

In Between the rain drops...{Teen Photographer}

We are all still waiting for the weather to warm up and the rain to stop for a while in this part of the world. However I have been blessed with luck so far when it comes to squeezing in photo sessions between the rain.

Here are some more images from my collection of the teens I have been recently working with.....and no rain there at all!(lucky me!)...

Allowing beauty....{Sea to Sky Grad Photographer}

It's been a busy few weeks here, lot's of excitement within our wonderful community here of various milestones in the lives of families that live here. I would like to start off this series of blog posts were I have been fortunate enough to document these milestones with some of the grads I have been working with.

My post title comes from a thought that came to mind of how I felt about myself at 17 graduating and how I saw these girls through my camera.....quite simply I was extremely shy(much preferring to be on the picture making side of the camera) where as these girls were so fresh and confident , completely at ease at allowing their beauty to shine.
